CALFARME^® BIOTABS Urinal Deodorizer Cartridge

CALFARME^® BIOTABS seek out organic wastes and eliminate the source of the most offensive odours. Problem-causing ammoniacal compounds in urine are completely and efficiently broken down by Urease, one of the enzymes produced by CALFARME^® BIOTABS. At the same time, it keeps drains free-flowing and choke-free.  

GENERAL INFORMATION: 

No-flush urinals - CALFARME^® BIOTABS eliminate water wastage and reduces sewer, saves installation and maintenance costs, improve hygiene by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria and require less maintenance, don’t require harsh polluting chemicals or scrubbing to remove lime scale, uric acid deposits and blockages problem.  

Conventional flushing urinals - waste a huge amount of fresh water to flush away the urine into the sewers. Water in urinals actually contributes to growth for bacteria and odors, it often requires deep clean and de-scaling with hazardous caustics, corrosive chemical toilet cleaners or sanitizers which ultimately released into our waterways. Overtime, organic material build-up throughout the plumbing lines in the buildings and it is this build-up that eventually causes clogged drains and obnoxious odors.

Water-free urinals - design looks just like a conventional water-flushing urinal except there are no flush valve and no water supply. It has a cartridge filter in the base of the urinal acts as a one-way trap to allow urine to flow to drain pipes while blocking odor. They still require routine cleaning and maintenance of urinal surface and floor, periodic cartridge replacement or liquid sealant replenishment after several thousand uses.
