the Promising Franchisor of the Year Award, Calfarme
(Singapore) Pte Ltd is a first-time recipient of TDB's
Franchise Excellence Awards. "Calfarme is

Calfarme has over the years progressively developed and
expanded its line of products and also its presence
throughout the region and beyond.
The
company is in the business of manufacturing and distributing
washroom hygiene-related products. In addition, the
Singapore-based company is also a service provider in areas
such as rental, servicing and maintenance of washroom
equipment.
Calfarme's strategy today is to focus on research and
development and manufacturing, while the franchisees take
care of the marketing, distribution and servicing aspects.
In the next two years, the company seeks to convert current
service businesses in Singapore, Malaysia and the
Philippines to franchise operations. Calfarme also plans to
recruit Master Franchisees in at least eight other
countries: three in Europe, one in South Africa, one in
Australia and New Zealand, two in China and one in North
America.
